Requirements

  • A Meta Business Manager account with active Lead Ad campaigns
  • A Facebook Page the ads run from
  • A system user and page access token with leads_retrieval scope
  • A LunoGen account with at least the Pro plan

    Create a system user in Business Manager

    Open Business Settings → Users → System Users → Add. Name it 'LunoGen Leads' and assign the Admin role.

    Generate a page access token with leads_retrieval

    For the system user, generate a token scoped to your page with 'leads_retrieval', 'pages_manage_metadata', and 'pages_read_engagement'.

    Subscribe to Meta webhooks

    In Meta for Developers, create an app (or use an existing one), add the Webhooks product, and subscribe to the 'leadgen' field on your Page. Point it at your LunoGen webhook URL.

    Paste credentials into LunoGen

    In LunoGen → Credentials → New → Meta Lead Ads, paste your page ID, access token, and the app secret used to verify webhook signatures.

    Write the welcome instruction

    Link the webhook to an agent and describe your welcome flow in plain English (e.g. 'Message new leads on WhatsApp within 10 seconds, introduce yourself, book a call').
